How to narrow search results for a targeted population segment

At Clinia, we want to help you find the right resources for the right person. We know that you will often need to find resources that offer services tailored to a specific group of people such as women, indigenous communities, or the LGBTQ+ community. To make this easier, we’ve built a feature that allows you to filter search results by the population segment targeted.

Here are the steps to follow to narrow your search results for a targeted population segment:

1. Go to the search bar located at the top of the Directory. Type in your query and, if applicable, enter a location for your query.

   

2. Once you see the search results, click on "Population" under the search bar to open the drop-down menu
3. The drop-down list will show you population segments that expand onto subsegments. Select one or more population groups and then click on the "Apply" button to apply the filters you selected to the results

To remove a filter, simply open the "Population" drop-down list and unselect the population groups. Don't forget to click the "Apply" button to apply the changes to your results

That's it! You should now see search results that are tailored to the population segment that you selected.
