Why are some search filters disabled?

Some filters are automatically disabled if they do not apply to your search or if that type of information is not available in any of the results you obtain.

In the screenshot below, we searched for walk-in clinics. Since we did not provide a search location, the Range filter is not available.

Once we enter a postal code, the results are narrowed and the Range filter becomes available to allow you to further narrow the results to a specific distance from your location. You’ll notice however that the Language filter has now become disabled as none of the resources matching your search parameters offer that information.
