Why am I getting an "Access denied" message?
The Console doesn't show an "Access denied" message. Blocked actions come down to your role, or to the state of your organization or workspace. Here's how to tell which, and who can fix it.
You have the Member role
Members can view workspaces and members. They can't create or delete workspaces or credentials, or invite anyone. Organization settings and billing are closed to them too. The buttons for those actions don't appear, and opening Settings or Plan & billing shows a page that can't be found.
Ask an Owner or Admin in your organization to do it for you, or ask an Owner to change your role. To see who they are, click Members in the sidebar and check the Role column. What each role can do lists every permission.
A button is greyed out
This applies to Owners and Admins. Hover over the button, or move to it with the keyboard, to see why. Each reason has its own fix.
| The Console says | What to do |
|---|---|
| Blocked until the organization accepts the terms of service and privacy policy. | An Owner clicks Review and accept on the Terms acceptance required banner. |
| Blocked while the organization is suspended over an unpaid invoice. | An Owner clicks Update payment method on the Organization suspended banner. |
| Blocked while the organization has reached its credit limit. Upgrade the plan to continue. | An Owner clicks Update plan on the Organization suspended banner, or writes to Clinia Support. |
| Blocked while this workspace is disabled. Upgrade the plan to put it back in service. | An Owner upgrades the plan in Plan & billing. |
| Unavailable while we can't reach the platform. | Try again in a few minutes. |

You were removed from the organization
If the organization is missing from your Console, you may have been removed. Removal takes effect right away and ends access to every workspace in the organization. Ask an Owner or Admin of the organization to invite you again if that's a mistake.
The API refuses your application
When the API refuses a request, check your application's credential, not your Console account. A credential works only in the workspace it was created in. For token and permission errors, see Manage credentials in the developer documentation.
Need help?
If your organization's Owners and Admins can't resolve it, write to Clinia Support. Include your organization name, the email address on your account (or the credential's Client ID for an API issue, never the secret), and what you were trying to do.
