Fix API authentication errors

Updated 13 October 20261 min read

API authentication errors come from your application's credential, not from your Console account. Manage credentials in the developer documentation covers access tokens, their expiry, and scopes.

Check in the Console

  • A credential works only in the workspace it was created in. Open the workspace your application calls and check that its Client ID is listed in the OAuth credentials section. Create a workspace and get API access shows where.
  • The Client secret is shown only once, when the credential is created. If it's lost, create a new credential, update your application, and only then delete the old one. Deleting takes effect right away, with no confirmation, and stops any application still using it.
  • If the credential was deleted, create a new one and update your application.

Need help?

Write to Clinia Support. Include the Workspace ID, the Client ID (never the secret), the endpoint you called, the time of the error with the time zone, and the response code.
